
According to Wang Xiangzhai, after mastering relaxing activity, you can move onto other
activities.
There are activities for improvement of combat skills and life cultivation.
For combat, you practice standing meditation to develop Hunyuanli 渾元力.
If you have a difficult time developing Hunyuanli, you can first develop Liumianli 六面力.
The most basic point of Liumianli is to develop strength which moves to up and down.
After this, you can develop strengths which move toward left and right as well as front and
back.
After you develop Liumianli, you can move onto developing Hunyuanli.
There are dozens of methods for standing meditation for health cultivation.
For example, you can imagine that your body is floating in warm water and only your face is
above the water.
If you imagine this, you may feel relaxed and comfortable.
There is also a method in which you imagine the healing energy gets collected into the
center of your body and then it spreads out of your body.
In this activity, you use this imagination repeatedly.
After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Xiangzhai taught standing
meditation to many people at a park in Beijing which contributed to making more people
healthy.
